Dr. Dina Eliopoulos knows the decision to have plastic surgery is an important one, and she is devoted to patient education so her patients can make informed decisions. Dr. Eliopoulos loves her work and the role she plays helping patients to feel better about themselves. Her practice includes facial and breast surgery, body contouring, liposuction and a range of non-surgical procedures. All Center for Plastic Surgery staff members have worked together for over 10 years, contributing to a comfortable family atmosphere.
Dr. Eliopoulos: I'm Dr. Dina Eliopoulos, and I'm a board certified plastic
surgeon. I'd like to welcome you to my practice here at The Center for
Plastic Surgery. We are really devoted to educating our patients. I think
this critical because deciding to have plastic surgery of any nature,
whether it's surgical or non-surgical is an important decision not to be
taken lightly. We want to feel like our patients are fully equipped to make
I love what I do. I love that I'm able to really treat real patients,
everyday men and women like you and me. It's a very uplifting specialty.
It's wonderful to be able to help patients feel better about themselves.
The fact that I'm a woman makes them more comfortable. It puts them at ease
a little bit because certainly a lot of my patients are women.
I think certainly in my own personal life, family has always been
important. Here in the office my staff, many have been with me for over ten
years. So I feel like we are a family here together.
Nurse: We do the procedure but we're also talking about grandkids that have
been born, weddings, and family members that I feel like I know even though
I've never met. So it's nice to have that relationship and patient's come
in, I think they feel very comfortable. We feel comfortable with them, just
spending so much time over the years getting to know each other.
Erin: It's a family atmosphere here between the staff and even with the
patients. It feels really nice when they leave here and they have big
smiles on their faces.
Dr. Eliopoulos: I think more and more I'm seeing patients at earlier and
earlier ages thinking about facial rejuvenation. I think patients again,
don't typically want to change their overall look. They just want to feel
more refreshed, maybe less tired, less angry looking. Some do want to turn
back the clock a little bit a few years, but I think most patients have
very realistic expectations.
Non-surgical procedures like BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable fillers are a big part of
my practice as well. They definitely compliment the surgical side of
plastic surgery. Along with that, I've always been committed to providing
advanced laser and skin care in the office. So we have a wide range of
modalities on the skin care end.
Certainly breast surgery is a big part of what I do in the office. I find
it very challenging. I do all sorts of breast procedures, breast
augmentation with implants, breast lifts, breast reductions, breast
reconstruction sometimes after cancer surgeries. Sometimes even for
congenital issues in the breast in patients as young as their teenage
Body contouring is also a big part of my practice. I love doing tummy tucks
and liposuction. Sometimes body lifts too after dramatic weight loss. So we
see a lot of patients too after they lost a significant amount of weight.
Certainly I also perform facial cosmetic surgery, like face lifts and
Sarah: At their post-op visits or their next visit they feel that self-
confidence. You can see it exudes out of them. That new person, really
they're the same but they have this new way of life that they feel. All
their friends and family see it. So I think that's very rewarding here for
sure to somebody transformed.
Dr. Eliopoulos: It really does make you feel good, and patients are so
appreciative. We don't look for that or ask for those thank yous but they
come, and sometimes it's just from a very small, minor procedure but to
that person it made such a huge, tremendous impact on them.
