Radiofrequency Skin Tightening Treatment for Wrinkle Reduction and Skin Resurfacing

As we age, we naturally lose fat in the face and skin elasticity from collagen loss, leaving us with fine lines, wrinkles, sagging jowls, and so on. And even though wrinkles and sagging skin are simply a by-product of the normal aging process, it’s also natural to want to look and feel your best.

While dermal fillers and injectables are staples in fighting against the hands of time, they can only take patients so far in terms of correction. Many patients not only want to restore volume loss and erase fine lines in the face, but more and more, my patients also want to discuss options for tightening and recontouring the face and neck.

For these patients, radiofrequency in conjunction with microneedling and/or liposuction is a highly desirable treatment to achieve these aesthetic goals in a safe, uniform, and effective way. As opposed to a surgical facelift, this is an alternative for:

Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

Morpheus8 RF microneedling combines the benefits of microneedling with RF energy to target deeper tissues. During a treatment session, we gently press the tip of a handheld applicator against the skin. The microneedles penetrate the subdermal tissue up to 7mm (depth is customized to your treatment area), delivering the RF energy through the tip of the microneedles, deep into the skin’s layers to achieve results that aren’t possible with traditional microneedling.

Depending on your treatment area, there are four different microneedle tip configurations of varying sizes and depths. This allows us to treat the small areas around the eyes, lips and jawline, as well as sizable areas of the body, such as the abdomen and thighs. When treating larger areas, we can use Morpheus8 Body.

Morpheus8 Body deep tissue remodeling uses microneedles to deliver RF energy deep into the skin and subdermal layers (up to 7mm) to smooth and tighten the targeted areas. The large surface tip makes it possible to uniformly treat a wider area more quickly and efficiently. The thermal energy melts away fat and triggers new collagen production to reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve skin laxity on areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, buttocks and flanks.
